Saint Rose of Lima Catholic School is fortunate to have such a dedicated group of parents who are willing to share their time and gifts with our school. Many of the programs we offer our students are made possible due to parents who are committed to volunteering to coordinate the activities.

The School Advisory Committee (SAC) assists the pastor and the principal in the governance of Saint Rose of Lima School. This committee is comprised of parents who are willing to advise and consult with the principal about the operations of the school. The main focus of this committee is to consult the principal in the following areas:

1. Planning (establishing a mission statement, goals, future plans)
2. Policy Development (formulating policies that give general direction for administrative action)
3. Financing (including budgeting and policies for financial management)
4. Development (including public relations, marketing, and long-term school fundraising)
5. Recommendations for the selection/appointment of the principal through the Search Committee
6. Evaluation of goals and relationship of principal to Advisory Committee

The Home & School Association provides enhancements to the curriculum that tuition doesn’t cover. We are a community builder between the home, school, and our teachers. This is all done through the volunteers who give generously of their time and talent in so many ways. All parents of Saint Rose of Lima students are members of this association and are encouraged to become involved in some way to support the efforts that benefit our children.

Fundraising, Events, Sponsored Projects, and Volunteer Information:

The Home & School Association sponsors a variety of fundraising and community-building events. The continued support and dedication of the Coordinators and Volunteers who run these events allow the Home & School Association to sponsor field trips, provide educational supplies to classrooms, and educational enrichment for parents and students. It is because of you that we have been so successful.

The Booster Club is a parent organization that uses all of the proceeds from its fundraisers to support the athletic program at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic School. This includes but is not limited to equipment, uniforms and other needs as defined by the organization, Athletic Director, and Principal. The Booster Club hosts an annual Athletic Banquet to recognize both the athletes and coaches for a great year.
