My Catholic faith has always been important to me. I grew up in northern Minnesota and served mass from the third grade until my junior year of college, in the small country church that my grandfather helped build.
I have an AA degree in accounting, a BS degree in entrepreneurship, risk management, and insurance, and an MBA with a technology focus. I worked for over 20 years in higher education helping adult learners learn computers and software programs, managing events, and facilities operations/technology management. I am a veteran of the MN Army National Guard where I worked on helicopter electronics and avionics and was a member of the shooting team, representing the state in national competition. I’ve always enjoyed working with, teaching, and mentoring children and young adults. Whether teaching grade school children about honeybees, working with hundreds of high school students every year for the state FFA convention, or hiring college freshmen for their first-ever jobs. I’m excited about the opportunity to join the Saint Rose staff and to work with students every day!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and family. It is a joy to see her embrace the Catholic faith as she learns at Saint Rose. We like to be out in nature and around animals or head to theme parks for roller coasters. I also enjoy beekeeping, gardening, Astro and macro photography, rock hounding, and joining all the small children in staring up at every aircraft that passes by overhead!
