I grew up in Stillwater where I attended Saint Croix Catholic for Kindergarten to Eighth Grade. I attended the University of St. Thomas where I received my degree in Education. I strongly believe in our Catholic Education and the importance of Christ in the classroom. I am thrilled to have found my dream job, teaching Middle School English Language Arts at Saint Rose early on in my career. I pride myself in exposing the students to different genres and exploring different people, time, and places through novels as we decipher complex themes together. I love watching my student’s creativity come alive through their individual writing assignments, projects, and critical ideas about the novels. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cheering on the Minnesota Wild and hanging out with my family.
